A New Chapter

Nine years ago we started Tango because we felt there was a better way, a more strategic way, for retail and restaurant companies to plan and manage their locations. Our vision was clear and so were our goals:

To break down the artificial walls between real estate strategy and store development execution.

To replace the loosely coupled patchwork of three to five systems that most retailers use today with a single solution in the cloud.

To develop a solution built specifically for retailers that fit like a glove and therefore requires little effort, cost or time to set up and provide value.

The culmination of our vision and work is Tango’s Strategic Store Lifecycle Management suite.

We have worked with over 700 leading retail and restaurant brands, and bring that knowledge and those best practices to Strategic Store Lifecycle Management. Our cloud-based SaaS and mobile solution is used across more than 130 countries by concepts with a few dozen locations to large global brands with more than 40,000 stores.

Rick Zelinsky

Vice President, Product Strategy

In his role of Vice President, Product Strategy, Rick is responsible for market analysis, product roadmap and system design and for location operation applications.

Rick is a pioneer in the Store Lifecycle Management and IWMS space and brings with him more than 20 years of real estate technology experience and deep industry knowledge, most notably in lease administration and accounting.

Prior to joining Tango, Rick worked at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) where he oversaw Global Real Estate Technology of one of the largest corporate and retail tenants. At JPMC, Rick defined and executed a multi-year technology strategy spanning transaction management, capital projects, lease administration and facilities, ultimately resulting in the successful implementation of a single technology platform globally. Rick’s real estate technology career began at National Facilities Group (NFG), where he ran Client Services and successfully expanded the core corporate-focused SLIM lease administration product with retail functionality resulting in a dominant market position in retail. When NFG was acquired by Accruent in 2004, Rick held leadership roles at Accruent in professional services and business development.
