Last year, leading enterprises made their most stringent return-to-office mandates yet. By the end of 2025, most Fortune 100 companies required employees to be in the office five days a week, and office foot traffic reached some of its highest levels since the pandemic.

At the same time, the labor market cooled and employers increasingly looked to AI to drive productivity. It’s no longer a question of “Are you using it?” but “Where are you using it?”
