He has a proven track record of building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms that serve millions of users while driving measurable business outcomes.
Bala has extensive experience leading technical transformation initiatives across venture-backed, from early-stage through Series E growth. He holds deep expertise in cloud platform architecture, AI implementation, distributed systems engineering, and translating complex technical capabilities into scalable business value.
Before joining Tango, Bala was Chief Technology Officer & Chief Product Officer at Nayya Health, an AI-driven benefits technology platform serving millions of users. Prior to Nayya, he held executive leadership roles at VTS (commercial real estate platform), Justworks (HRtech platform), and Vidyo (video communications platform), helping guide these companies through critical hypergrowth phases.
Under his leadership at Nayya, Bala led a comprehensive platform replatforming initiative, launched three new product lines, and spearheaded the company’s AI transformation strategy. Throughout his career, he has delivered $200M+ in cumulative ARR growth while building high-performing distributed engineering teams across multiple continents.
Bala holds a MBA from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, India.
