Kathryn Hilton serves as Tango’s Chief Marketing Officer, where she leads the company’s marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, product marketing, and communications. She brings more than 20 years of experience building marketing functions that drive revenue for B2B and SaaS companies, with a consistent focus on tying marketing work to measurable business outcomes.
Kathryn has spent much of her career joining companies in build and growth mode, often in PE-backed environments, and creating the teams and infrastructure that let marketing scale alongside the business. Most recently, she was Chief Marketing Officer at AbsenceSoft, an HR technology platform for employee leave and accommodations management. There she built a full-stack marketing team from the ground up, spanning demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, and partner marketing, and the company earned HR Tech Awards recognition for three consecutive years under her leadership.
Before AbsenceSoft, Kathryn spent eight years at Gordian, a construction data and software company serving the built environment. As VP of Marketing, she led the team supporting Gordian’s public sector and AEC customer segments. She also served as General Manager of the company’s RSMeans SaaS business, overseeing sales, customer success, and customer support alongside marketing. That experience gives her a cross-functional view of how marketing, sales, and customer teams work together to grow a business.
Kathryn started her career on the agency side and at consumer brands, where she built the foundation for the full-funnel approach she brings to Tango today. She holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, where she served as president of the MBA Marketing Club, and a BA in Communications with a minor in Advertising from Clemson University.
