Sensorless occupancy monitoring
Tango Occupancy doesn’t need physical sensors, badge scanners, or anything else to provide you with space utilization data. Instead, it leverages your facility’s private network, monitoring authenticated users as they move throughout your facility.
If they’re on Wi-Fi, Tango Occupancy uses nearby Wi-Fi access points and the occupant’s signal strength to triangulate their position. And if they’re using ethernet connections, Tango Occupancy shows them in the area of the ethernet port. When a single occupant connects multiple devices (such as a phone and a computer), it still only registers as one user, so you don’t have to worry about duplicate data points.
