Dallas, TX – Tango Analytics (TA) and Tango Management Consulting (TMC) finished up their first year of working with the North Texas Food Bank.
The 2013/2014 food drive concluded with the “Taste of the NFL” event held at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine TX on Sunday, May18th. During the event, NTFB raised $275,608, a 20% increase from last year, which equated to 826,825 meals provided in North Texas. Over the course of the year, through financial contributions and the donation of time at the NTFB warehouse, TMC and TA were able to directly provide over 55,000 meals.
“Many of our clients based in the DFW area are sponsors of the North Texas Food Bank”, said Chairman and Founding Partner, Jack Thompson. “On behalf of Tango Management Consulting and Tango Analytics we are proud to have had the opportunity to join them in sponsoring NTFB’s 2013 campaign to fight hunger in North Texas.”
“There are a lot of opportunities for corporate citizenship, and what was important to us was finding an organization with a compelling mission and set of core values”, explained Partner and CMO, Bart Waldeck. “The NTFB’s core values of ‘do what needs to be done’ and ‘do what’s right with urgency’ align with Tango’s way of doing business so the partnership was a great fit.”
