We are seeking a Marketing and Event Coordinator to join our team.
If you are one or two years out of school with a foundation in marketing, this is the perfect role for you to grow and become a marketing expert. The Tango Marketing team handles all aspects of marketing, including product marketing, marketing communications, demand generation, event marketing, digital marketing, media relations, and overall brand development.
You will work with our team to help execute all internal and external events, manage website updates, develop graphics for blogs and ads, and conduct research on the latest marketing practices.
The person who takes on this role must be highly driven, is known for getting things done, and is great at juggling multiple initiatives at one time.
What you’ll have an opportunity to do:
- Help organize, and execute 8-10 trade events, 12-15 online events, and two customer events per year:
- Maintaining trade show calendar
- Maintaining and project managing trade show plans for each show
- Ensuring all trade show paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Ordering services including material handling, cleaning, flooring, furniture, etc.
- Coordinating logistics for booth/materials shipping, set up, tear down
- Support all logistics for Tango user conferences
- Support webinar campaigns– including setting up events in tool, coordinating promotion, and maintaining webinar calendar
- Help coordinate post-event lead follow up activities
- Assist with execution of a wide range of activities related to Tango’s annual marketing plan, including:
- Maintain website to ensure all content is up to date
- Support design – including developing images for blogs and emails
- Help develop and support all lead generation campaigns, including digital aspects
- Conduct research into industry, target market, etc. to support marketing initiatives
- Maintain Tango’s marketing software tools, including HubSpot and Uberflip
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, English, business, or related area
- Minimum of one to two years of experience in a marketing-related field. Experience in the software industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
- Must have the ability to work independently and also in cooperation with different departments team. Candidate should enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies
- Must thrive working assertively in a deadline-driven environment
