This Website Privacy Policy explains how Tango Management Consulting, Inc. (“Tango,” “we” or “us”) uses and discloses personal information about you when we receive it while you use our websites that link to this Privacy Policy, including tangoanalytics.com, and any social media pages that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Site”) or when you communicate with us directly by email, telephone, or otherwise.
Separate from the information collected through the Site or in direct communications with you, we may receive, process, and store personal information in the course of providing data analytics or other services to our clients. However, such receipt, processing, and storage of personal information is controlled by and performed under the direction of our clients, and we do not process or use that information for any other purpose. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy. If we make any material changes, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
Collection and use of Information
We collect personal information through the Site and through direct communications and use it for typical business purposes (such as security, anti-fraud, business reporting, and protecting the rights and interests of Tango, you, and others), and, subject to the requirements of applicable law, as described more specifically below:
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you request a demo or report, subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a form, or communicate with us by chat, email, or telephone.
- Personal identifiers: We collect personal identifiers (such as your name, email address, and telephone number). We use personal identifiers to respond to your requests and communicate with you for marketing and informational purposes.
- Employment information: We collect employment-related information (such as your company name and job title). We use this information to respond to your requests, improve and personalize the Site, and help us develop and provide you with information we believe will be of interest to you for marketing and informational purposes.
- Message content: We receive the messages you submit through online forms and communications with us. We use this information to respond to and process your requests and improve the Site and our services.
- Geo-location information: Some of the information we collect, such as IP addresses, may be used to estimate an approximate location of the device you are using to access our Site in order to enhance and personalize the features and functionality of the Site and our offerings.

- Job application information: Job applications including personal identifiers, protected class information (such as citizenship), professional, education, and employment information, and other personal details (such as desired salary) may be collected by us directly through the Site, by email, or on our behalf by contracted third-party administrator(s) for applicant tracking purposes and/or by background check providers. We process the information to review your job application and for other employment-related purposes consistent with applicable law, including to contact you regarding your application and/or to contact you about other job openings that we believe may be of interest to you. Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Site
Like many website operators, when you access and use our Site, we use cookies, log data, and similar technology to automatically record personal identifiers (such as your IP address and device identifiers), information about your device (such as your browser type, locale preferences, and mobile carrier) and information concerning your usage activity on the Site (such as your interaction with our Site, the link you used to reach them, and the content displayed on it. We use the data to enable certain features of our Site, preserve your preferences and customize your experience when you visit and return to the Site, and study, enhance and improve the use and capabilities of our Site, content, and advertising.

Information We Collect From Other Sources
We may collect personal contact and preference information and professional and employment information from public and non-public sources for marketing purposes. Examples of public sources include trade directories or websites like LinkedIn. Non-public sources may include event organizers, marketing companies from which we obtain marketing leads, and technology platforms that correlate personal identifiers to assist us in performing email and online marketing and advertising regarding our services. We may link or combine the information we collect from these sources with the information we have collected directly from you for marketing purposes.
Sharing of Information
We may provide third parties with the personal information (for any categories described above) that we collect for our business and commercial purposes to respond to your requests, to provide the Site and any related services to you, to help us market to you, and as more specifically described below:
To Provide, Protect, and Improve Our Sites and Services: We disclose personal information as necessary to operate our business, such as with third-party providers in connection with providing the Site and services to you. For example, we may share personal identifiers with third-party providers to help us with our email and online marketing and advertising activities. We require that such third-party providers use personal information for limited purposes, and we also require assurances that they will appropriately protect personal information entrusted to them. To Comply with the Law and Legal Process: We may access, preserve, and disclose information concerning you if required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary in our judgment to comply with a legal obligation.
With Affiliates: We may share information between and among Tango and its current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and other companies under common control and ownership.
Other Sharing: We may share information for the same purposes we use the information as described under “Collection and Use of Information” above and for other business purposes as explained in this Privacy Policy.
Sales, Mergers, and Acquisitions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets of or associated with a business unit, or transition of a business unit to another entity (whether by private sale, through operation of law, as part of a divestiture plan, or otherwise), we will provide personal information and transaction history associated with each such business unit to the persons and/or entities assuming control of such business unit or as otherwise necessary to complete the transaction as permitted by law or contract.
Social Sharing Features
The Site may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button), which let you share actions you take on our Site with other media, and vice versa. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. Analytics and Advertising Services Provided by Others
We use third-party advertising services to display our online ads to you after you visit the Site, third-party email services to send informational and marketing email, and third-party analytics services to help us understand and improve the usage of our Site and the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Retention of Personal Information
We keep information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and as permitted or required by law, such as to comply with record-keeping and other legal obligations. There may also be residual information that will remain within our backup files, databases, and other records, which will be deleted in accordance with retention policies.

Tango takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries
Tango is based in the United States and the information collected under this Privacy Policy is processed in the United States. To the extent we enter into arrangements with customers in other countries to process and store their information, we abide by our agreements (including, where applicable, EU-approved Standard Contract Clauses) and the underlying legal framework (including, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”)).

Privacy Rights
Generally
Certain jurisdictions impose specific legal requirements and privacy rights with respect to personal information, and we will comply with restrictions and any requests you submit as required by applicable law. For example, you may have the right to review, correct, and delete personal information we have about you, or to consent or withdraw consent to certain uses or sharing of personal information. You may be able to use the Site to access and update the information that you have provided to us through your use of the Site or otherwise. When you make a request, we may require that you provide information and follow procedures so that we can verify a request you make and your jurisdiction before responding to it. The verification steps we take may differ depending on your jurisdiction and the request you make. We will match the information that you provide in your request to information we already have on file to verify your identity. If we are able to verify your request, we will process it. If we cannot verify your request, we may ask you for additional information to help us verify your request.
We will respond to your request within the time period required by applicable law. However, we may not always be able to fully comply with your request, and we will notify you in that event.
California Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California consumers have the following rights: to request additional information about our data collection, use, disclosure, and sales practices as a business in connection with the consumer’s personal information; to request the specific Personal Information collected about the consumer during the previous 12 months; and to request the deletion of personal information we have about the consumer in our role as a business. California consumers also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment if they exercise the rights list above.
Please note, when we process personal information on behalf of our customers, our customers (and not Tango) may have the obligation to respond to California consumer requests. We will not access our customers’ data for this purpose, and California consumers will need to direct their requests to our customers. We will respond to requests made by California consumers with respect to the information governed by this Privacy Policy.
California law permits California consumers to use an authorized agent to make privacy rights requests. We require the authorized agent to provide us with proof of the California consumer’s written permission (for example, a power of attorney) that shows the authorized agent has the authority to submit a request for the California consumer. An authorized agency must follow the process described below to make a request, and we will additionally require the authorized agent to verify his/her own identity and registration to do business in California and we will confirm the agent’s authority with the California consumer about whom the request was made.

We do not sell your personal information for money or other consideration. We also do not rent, sell, or share “personal information” as defined by California Civil Code §1798.83 about you that we collect on the Site with other people or unaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes.
